fantasy based XMAS trains full of presents.
In no way did I intend to offend any Teddy Bears or suggest in any way that they lack the
ability or technical skills needed to navigate/pilot/drive/captain/helm/direct/steer/point a small train operating in
some ones front yard.
Teddy Bears have been an important part of American culture and they have made several important contributions to our society since their arrival in America in 1902. The fact I have not listed any here in no way should suggest that I cannot think of any of the afore mentioned contributions, only that their contributions are so numerous that I lack the space in this post to list them.
I have the utmost respect for Teddy Bear culture and values and at no point have I condoned or advocated the wearing of Teddy Bear costumes for entertainment purposes, be it for children or of an adult nature. Humans impersonating Teddy Bears not only rob Teddy Bears of valuable job opportunities but it is offensive and usually involves entirely inaccurate Teddy Bear stereo-typing. This only perpetuates Teddy Bear insensitivity.
In-fact I have turned down work in Hollywood because I felt the project in question portrayed Teddy Bears in a negative light or it was somehow affiliated with a project by extension that projected Teddy Bears in a questionable way. Some of you may remember I defiantly turned down the unpaid half day internship on a crew being used to clean out Steven Speilbergs horse stables after he directed the film AI.
I also have never attended any parties etc at Seth McFarlanes house! Mostly because Seth has no clue who I am but also due to his blatant exploitation of Teddy Bears!
It is my sincere hope that we as a society can move past our differences and some day we can see past plush furry
exteriors and judge each other by the Teddy Bear inside each and every one of us.
